Clutch Couplings
PT Tech has been designing custom clutch couplings since the early 1980’s. These usually incorporate a one-way clutch and are designed to provide backup drive systems, chain driven inspection and creep drives for conveyors, and “Sunday Drives” for kilns and other equipment. They are used to prevent the main drive from dangerously over speeding the auxiliary drive or from damage caused by rapid cooldown.
